We are Rich and Mike Scordo, brothers born and raised in New Hyde Park, NY. From early ages, we mowed neighbor’s lawns with our Father’s lawnmower, each going to separate houses.
After the lawnmower broke due to constant use, we pooled together the money we had made and bought our second one and started working as a team. Growing up, we were very active in the boy scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scouts. This is how Eagle Nurseries got its name.
Graduating with degrees in landscape design and horticulture from SUNY Farmingdale, our landscaping business continued to grow.
In the year 2000, we opened a full-service nursery and garden center in Floral Park, NY. We soon grew out of that location and moved to New Hyde Park in 2011, building a state of the art facility. The new location measures 20,000 sq. feet and includes a 3,800 sq foot greenhouse. We are proud to call this place home and we hope to see you soon.
